Business Development Manager

In the role of Business Development Manager, you will hold a key position in developing a new and exciting business area at Alotta, closely tied to our existing energy solutions and growth strategy. You will work with market development, partnerships and commercialization, and play an important part in shaping how we scale going forward.
We are seeking a self-driven and commercially minded professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering results. You have a solid technical understanding — ideally within solar energy or related energy solutions — and can translate opportunities into concrete projects.

The position reports to the CSO.

Area of responsibility:
- Relation and partner development with important collaboration partners
- Development of proposals and solution customization together with our team and selected collaboration partners
- Develop and implement strategy for market expansion within own area of responsibility
- Contribute to efficient rollout and support competence building among actors we collaborate with
- Active follow-up of customers and collaboration partners
- Ensure good support in project implementations
- Travel as needed for customer meetings and projects

Desired Qualifications:
- Higher education in technology, economics, energy, or equivalent - relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- Technical sales experience with good "track record", preferably within energy solutions
- Strong network in the industrial sector in Scandinavia/globally
- Understanding of solar cell technology and integration in energy systems
- Experience with strategic market development and partnerships
- Experience from renewable energy, battery or solar cells will be of advantage
- Good written and oral skills in Norwegian and English

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- Present in the room when decisions are made and has the ability to influence
