Alotta appoints Maricio Cerda as a Managing Director of Alotta Energy Chile

Norwegian energy technology company Alotta has appointed Mauricio Cerda as Managing Director of Alotta Energy Chile. Cerda took up the position on August 1st 2026 and will lead the company’s continued growth, organisational development and commercial operations in Chile.

Cerda brings more than 25 years of experience from the Chilean and Latin American aquaculture industry. He holds a degree in Aquaculture Engineering and an MBA. His previous experience includes leading the development of Poseidon Ocean Systems in Chile, serving as Technical Manager at Badinotti Group and working in salmon farming operations at Marine Harvest, now Mowi, Blumar and Salmones Caleta Bay.
